Pamper Your Pet!
If you have a pet rabbit, of course, you’ll want to celebrate with your fuzzy friend, perhaps by pampering her a bit. Treats are of course a great option for that. As far as rabbits go, fruits are probably their number one choice. Just don’t overindulge Floppy’s sweet tooth. Too much sugar is just as bad for pets as it is for us! Also, stick with safe, suitable options, such as bananas and strawberries. You can also give your cute pet some new chew toys, or perhaps a comfy bed. Ask your vet for more information.
Adoption
One great way to celebrate this special occasion is to adopt a bunny. Of course, you’ll want to think carefully and do lots of research first. Adopting any animal is a lifelong commitment, and is not something to take lightly!
Help Wild Rabbits
Don’t forget about Floppy’s wild cousins! Many natural rabbit habitats, such as meadows and fields, are now being developed. Consider donating to a conservation society.
Settling In
This is a perfect time to watch some movies that feature rabbits. There are some great classics to choose from, including Who Stole Roger Rabbit, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Rabbit, or The Velveteen Rabbit. If you’re in the mood for a tearjerker, consider watching Watership Down.
